Ebola: Great news- a potential vaccine!
Clinical trials have so far shown that an Ebola vaccine (Merck, Sharpe & Dohme- rVSV-ZEBOV) been efficacious and effective. The vaccine has received Breakthrough Therapy Designation from the FDA and PRIME status from the European Medicines Agency, meaning that its review will be expedited.
