What amazing symmetry can be seen in the 3D image of Zika virus! (Thanks Brian for making me aware of this awesome image) The Zika virus has been in the news so much lately for causing a large number of microcephalic babies born from mothers infected with the virus. The Zika virus was first found in Uganda in 1947 Transmitted by mosquitos, the most common symptoms are fever, rash, joint pain, and conjunctivitis (as per the CDC).
